Brooklyn Food Group

Situation

As a new brand launching new food products, Brooklyn Food Group approached Linx to create a brand identity, as well as packaging for their NYC made bagel line. The unique aspect of BFG is their ability to offer the favored taste and more than 100 year old tradition of New York City goods in combination with the finest ingredients and deliver the most delicious products, anywhere in the world. To capture the right look and feel for their branding and packaging, BFG needed a design that was fitting.

Strategy

With the rich history of New York City bagels and the city itself being a well-known center for some of the best tasting and finest quality food, Linx knew it was imperative to incorporate elements of New York City and an old-fashioned feel for the materials to be designed. We leveraged elements like the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge to bring the vision together.

Solutions

Linx started with the creation of a logo and tagline that best represented the brand which was applied to brand identity materials such as business cards, then further developed that theme to create label designs for the packaging that followed strict guidelines and precise details required for food products. The designs were built out for multiple flavors for the packaging designs. Linx then went on to design a van wrap for the bagel line that mirrored the bagel packaging utilizing hi-res imagery and simplified details necessary for large-scale printing and vehicle wrap installation.

Results

Brooklyn Food Group now has a presence in 1,800 locations and is seeing a tremendous growth in sales.
